Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 18, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with the Pricelyzer platform, including the cockpit, browser extension, Deal Delivery newsletter, and any APIs. This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension, termination, and forfeiture of fees paid, without prejudice to any other legal remedy.
2. You must not abuse the platform
- Scraping and reverse engineering. Do not scrape, crawl, spider, or use automated tools to extract data from Pricelyzer pages or APIs beyond your normal use of the cockpit UI. Do not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of Pricelyzer software.
- API abuse. Do not exceed documented API rate limits. Do not use programmatic access (scripts, bots, RPA tools) to simulate user interactions in a way that circumvents credit limits or rate controls. Do not attempt to discover undocumented API endpoints.
- Credential sharing and account resale. Each Pricelyzer account is for a single authorised user or business entity. Do not share login credentials, sell account access, or sub-license Pricelyzer to third parties without an Enterprise agreement. You may not operate Pricelyzer as a service bureau for multiple unaffiliated businesses under a single account.
- Security interference. Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Pricelyzer systems or networks. Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or infrastructure that does not belong to you. Do not introduce malware or malicious code.
3. You must not violate third-party terms
- Amazon Selling Partner API. Use of Pricelyzer features that require SP-API access must comply with Amazon's Selling Partner API Developer Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy, and Data Protection Policy at all times. Do not use Pricelyzer to bulk-export Amazon catalog data beyond what is required for your own sourcing activities. Do not use Pricelyzer-sourced Amazon data in any application or service other than Pricelyzer.
- Retailer terms. Do not use Pricelyzer Store Scanner or Bulk Sourcing to circumvent rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or bot-detection systems on retailer websites. Pricelyzer's retailer data is sourced from authorised catalog feeds; do not attempt to augment it with your own scraping activity routed through Pricelyzer infrastructure.
- Keepa data. Historical price and BSR data sourced from Keepa GmbH is provided under license for use within Pricelyzer. You may not export, copy, or redistribute Keepa data outside of Pricelyzer's CSV export feature for your own sourcing records.
4. Browser extension restrictions
- Use the extension only on supported retailer domains for legitimate sourcing research.
- Do not use automated scripts, headless browsers, or bots to drive the extension.
- Do not modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the extension.
- Do not use the extension to harvest or aggregate retailer pricing data for resale or redistribution.
- Do not use the extension on domains that have prohibited automated access in their robots.txt or Terms of Service.
5. Affiliate redirect restrictions
- Do not manipulate the affiliate redirect endpoint (
/api/affiliate/redirect) to generate fraudulent impressions, clicks, or commissions. - Do not use bots, scripts, or automated click injection to generate affiliate attribution events.
- Do not share, publish, or redirect the affiliate endpoint to audiences outside of your own Pricelyzer session.
- Affiliate link abuse constitutes fraud against Pricelyzer and any affiliate network partners Pricelyzer joins in the future (see our Affiliate Disclosure for current status). It may result in immediate termination and legal action.
6. Deal Delivery restrictions
- Deal Delivery subscription is limited to one account per individual user or business entity.
- Do not use Deal Delivery content to harvest email lists, re-publish opportunity data commercially, or resell deal curation services.
- Do not attempt to unsubscribe other users or manipulate newsletter delivery infrastructure.
7. Harmful or illegal use
You must not use Pricelyzer to:
- Facilitate any unlawful activity, including money laundering, sanctions evasion, or consumer fraud.
- Purchase and resell restricted, counterfeit, or prohibited goods on Amazon or any marketplace.
- Harass, threaten, or harm any individual.
- Violate the intellectual property rights of Amazon, retailers, or any third party.
8. Enforcement
Pricelyzer may investigate suspected AUP violations. If a violation is confirmed, we may:
- Issue a warning and require corrective action within 48 hours.
- Suspend access to affected features pending investigation.
- Terminate the account immediately without refund for serious or repeated violations.
- Report violations to Amazon, retailer platforms, or affiliate networks as required.
- Pursue civil or criminal legal remedies for fraud, data theft, or other unlawful conduct.
We reserve the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulatory authorities investigating any conduct connected to Pricelyzer.
9. Reporting abuse
If you observe misuse of Pricelyzer infrastructure, affiliate fraud, or other AUP violations — including by other users — please report it to abuse@pricelyzer.app. Reports are treated confidentially.
