Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 18, 2026
Our commitment
Pricelyzer is committed to making its platform usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies or prefer reduced-motion, high-contrast, or keyboard-only navigation. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across pricelyzer.app, app.pricelyzer.app, and the Pricelyzer Browser Extension.
1. Standards and testing
- Target standard. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
- Testing tools. We use Axe and Lighthouse, supplemented by manual review during development. Automated accessibility checks will be added to our CI pipeline before public launch.
- Assistive technology testing. Key flows are tested with NVDA + Chrome (Windows), VoiceOver + Safari (macOS/iOS), and keyboard-only navigation in Chrome and Firefox.
- Review cadence. Accessibility is reviewed on every significant UI change. A full audit is scheduled with each major version release.
2. What we support
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields, modals) are reachable and operable by keyboard. Focus order follows a logical document flow. Focus indicators are visible.
- Screen readers. Navigation landmarks, ARIA labels, and semantic HTML are used throughout the marketing site and cockpit shell. Tool output tables include proper table headers and ARIA descriptions.
- Reduced motion. All CSS and JavaScript animations in Pricelyzer respect the
prefers-reduced-motion: reduce media query. Motion is either removed or reduced to a simple opacity fade when the preference is detected. - High contrast. Pricelyzer's dark-mode cockpit uses tokens with contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA requirements for normal and large text. The marketing site is tested in Windows High Contrast Mode.
- Resizable text. The UI is functional at 200% browser text zoom without horizontal scrolling on desktop viewports.
- Alternative text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes. Informative images and icons include descriptive alt text or ARIA labels.
3. Known gaps
- Bulk Sourcing results table. The results grid (large datasets with sticky columns) is partially navigable by keyboard and screen reader, but full ARIA grid semantics and virtual row announcement are not yet implemented. This is on the product roadmap.
- Store Scanner results. Dense product card grids at high item counts may present a repetitive Tab-key experience. Skip-to-results navigation is planned.
- Browser Extension. The extension popup is keyboard-accessible, but ARIA live regions for asynchronous result updates are not yet implemented, meaning screen readers may not automatically announce new results.
- Data visualisations. Charts and sparklines in the cockpit (BSR history, price history) do not yet have accessible data table equivalents. We plan to add togglable table representations.
4. Workarounds
While we work on closing the gaps above, the following workarounds may help:
- Bulk Sourcing results can be exported to CSV and reviewed in any accessible spreadsheet application.
- Screen reader users may find it helpful to use a virtual cursor (browse mode) to navigate dense results grids.
- Extension results are also accessible in the full cockpit at app.pricelyzer.app where ARIA semantics are more complete.
5. Browser extension accessibility
The Pricelyzer Browser Extension popup is built with semantic HTML and ARIA attributes. It supports keyboard activation from the browser toolbar. The extension does not inject content into retailer pages in a way that could disrupt existing page accessibility.
6. Feedback and support
We want to hear about accessibility barriers you encounter. If you find a page or feature that does not work as expected with your assistive technology, or if you need content in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: accessibility@pricelyzer.app
- We aim to respond within 3 business days and to resolve confirmed accessibility issues within 30 days of confirmation.
If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the US Department of Justice ADA Information Line or your applicable national disability rights authority.
7. Third-party content
Pricelyzer embeds third-party content from Stripe (payment forms) and affiliate networks (external redirects). We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party interfaces, but we select partners who publish their own accessibility commitments. For Stripe accessibility, see Stripe's accessibility statement at stripe.com.
8. Changes to this statement
We update this statement as we close known gaps or identify new ones. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
