On your first visit, Pricelyzer shows a cookie consent banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject everything except strictly-necessary cookies, or pick per-category. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under the key pricelyzer_consent for 12 months. You can change your choice at any time by clicking — or by clearing site data, which resets the choice and re-shows the banner on your next visit.
Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the service cannot function without them (you can't sign in if the auth session cookie is blocked).
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application. They allow the site to remember your session, preferences, and interactions across page loads. Pricelyzer uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) on pricelyzer.app and app.pricelyzer.app.
These cookies are essential for the service to function. They cannot be disabled. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under GDPR (Recital 66) or CCPA (the "operational" exemption).
sb-<project>-auth-token. We use the SameSite attribute to mitigate cross-site request forgery. Duration: session, or up to 30 days if you select "stay signed in."pricelyzer_ui — Stores small UI preferences (e.g. dismissed banners, last-used tool). HTTP-only is not required because this cookie contains no authentication data. Duration: up to 30 days.We do not load third-party client-side analytics scripts on Pricelyzer pages (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Plausible script, no Segment). We rely on server-side aggregates — request counts, latency percentiles, error rates — tied to an anonymised session identifier. No analytics cookie is set on your browser.
You may request that your account be flagged to exclude any usage telemetry by emailing privacy@pricelyzer.appwith subject line "Opt out of analytics."
Pricelyzer does not currently set or share third-party affiliate-attribution cookies. If we add affiliate networks in the future, we will update this page and our sub-processors list at least 14 days before any customer personal data is shared, and we will provide opt-out instructions for the relevant networks here.
The Pricelyzer server-side affiliate redirect (/api/affiliate/redirect) does not set any cookie on your browser. No affiliate tracking cookie is set on the pricelyzer.app domain.
The Pricelyzer Browser Extension does not set cookies on any domain. The extension uses Chrome's chrome.storage.local API to persist your last-used lookup result locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser except as part of the lookup API request described in the Privacy Policy.
All modern browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Instructions for popular browsers:
Important:blocking Pricelyzer's authentication session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be functionally disabled without preventing the service from working.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
